INDIANAPOLIS – Meridian Health Services and Ball State University are partnering to plan Rialzo, a Kentucky Derby themed event, benefitting Meridian’s Addictions & Recovery Programs. Rialzo, which means “to elevate,” is scheduled for May 14th at the Scheumann Family Indoor Practice Facility at Ball State. During the event, Governor Eric Holcomb will receive the Spirit of Meridian Award because of his commitment to population health and the work he’s done for the state of Indiana throughout the pandemic. Ball State is also excited to welcome the First Lady, a two time Ball State graduate, back to campus.
Hank Milius, President & CEO of Meridian Health Services, shares the various services offered by this integrated healthcare provider, such as primary care, family medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN, internal medicine, and dental care services. Additionally, Meridian Health Services offers behavioral services like psychiatry and also social health services like adoption and foster care.
Ball State University’s President, Geoff Mearns, explains the partnership between Meridian Health Services and Ball State, as important because “supporting the heath of the communities that we serve here in East Central Indiana is critical to our success and vital to our mission.”
