\"\"In just a few months, Meridian Health Services will host the 10th running of its annual charity gala, Rialzo.<\/p>\n

Meridian has already announced details about the event so guests can start planning their night out in downtown Muncie. Here’s what we know so far.<\/p>\n

When and where:<\/strong>\u00a0Go ahead and mark this date on your calendar. Rialzo X is 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at the Horizon Convention Center, where it was last year. The convention center is located in downtown Muncie at 401 S. High St.<\/p>\n

Theme:<\/strong>\u00a0Reaching the 10th Rialzo proved to be quite the journey, and this year’s theme fits that: “Oh the Places You Will Go”. The theme will lead to a “Journey of New Beginnings” for babies born with a fresh, clean start through the Maternal Treatment Program.<\/p>\n

Cause:<\/strong>\u00a0For the third year in a row, funds raised at Rialzo will benefit the health organization’s Maternal Treatment Program, which provides care, treatment and support for addicted mothers and their babies.<\/p>\n

Dress colors:<\/strong>\u00a0Those will be rose gold, mocha, cream and cordovan. But if you have a dress sitting in the back of the closet from a past Rialzo, wear that instead and donate the saved money to Meridian’s Maternal Treatment Program.<\/p>\n

Band:<\/strong>\u00a0Liquid Blue will cap off the night. The dance cover band has performed in more than 100 countries, holding the world record for “The World\u2019s Most Traveled Band,” according to its Facebook page. Covers include songs from Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, Van Halen, Black Eyed Peas, Lady GaGa, U2, Stevie Wonder and much more.<\/p>\n

Features:<\/strong>\u00a0There will be auctions and a raffle, with prizes that include an African safari, a trip to the ESPYs and more. Meridian is also selling a coffee table book which will include photographs from past Rialzos. Those books will be made available after Rialzo X but can be reserved now for $50.<\/p>\n

Tickets:<\/strong>\u00a0Tickets to this event typically go fast. (The past five Rialzos have sold out.) Cost is $250 per ticket, which includes a $100 Rialzo raffle ticket that can be put toward various prizes.
